Service information

Terms of Service

Effective October 31, 2026. Please review before requesting mobile automotive service.

1. Scope of service

A.L. Automotive Services provides mobile automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and selected repairs by appointment. Availability depends on location, vehicle condition, weather, safety, equipment, and parts.

2. Service requests and scheduling

Submitting a service request does not guarantee acceptance or confirm an appointment. We will communicate whether we can accommodate the request and confirm scheduling details.

3. Diagnostic charges

Our standard diagnostic visit starts at $140. Before work begins, we will communicate the applicable charge and any known differences due to the vehicle, location, or testing requirements. Diagnostic fees pay for evaluation and do not guarantee that every underlying issue can be identified or resolved in one visit.

4. Estimates and authorization

Repair estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if additional problems or parts needs are discovered. We will explain material changes and seek customer approval before performing additional chargeable repairs. Customers may request written estimates.

5. Parts and availability

Parts pricing and availability can change. Customer-supplied parts must be reviewed before the job is accepted; compatibility, condition, and any applicable limitations will be discussed before installation. No universal warranty is promised on this website; any applicable warranty terms will be stated on the individual estimate or invoice.

6. Access and safety

The customer must have authority to authorize work on the vehicle and provide lawful, reasonably safe access to the vehicle. Certain repairs may require a workshop, tow, lift, or specialized equipment and may not be suitable for mobile service.

7. Payment

Payment arrangements and due dates will be communicated with the estimate or invoice. Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, and card through Square. Any additional charges must be disclosed and approved as applicable.

8. Vehicle condition and limitations

Vehicles may have pre-existing faults or multiple unrelated issues. Diagnosis or replacement of a failed component does not necessarily resolve other underlying conditions. We will communicate findings and recommendations based on the work performed.

9. Cancellations and changes

Please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel. See our Scheduling & Cancellations page. No automatic cancellation penalty is established by these website terms.

10. Questions and disputes

Please contact us promptly about a service concern so we can review the work performed, the estimate, and the invoice. These terms do not limit rights provided by applicable law.
